Electric Vehicle Webinar 2024
June 28, 2024
12:00PM - 1:00PM

Fully Remote (Zoom)
Event Details
Electric vehicles have an electric motor instead of a traditional internal combustion engine. The motor runs by drawing electricity from a battery that can be charged from an external source. Additionally, electric vehicles often feature braking systems that capture and use lost energy to recharge the battery.
Switching to electric vehicles is one of the best strategies to stop global warming. As of 2022, fossil fuel vehicles account for about 10% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions. But if these vehicles become electric, we could cut almost 20% of global emissions. Furthermore, EV vehicles have numerous advantages, such as cleaner air and quieter cities.
On June 28th, 2024, HNP Canada co-hosted an online webinar presented by Kenneth Bokor, creator of the EV Revolution Show. Various aspects of electric vehicles were covered. The webinar took place over Zoom from 12 PM to 1 PM. The event consisted of a 30 to 40-minute presentation from Mr. Bokor, followed by a 20-minute Q&A session. Four volunteer hours were granted to all participants.
