About Her!
Jasmine is an a grade 12 student in the IB program at Dr. G. W. Williams S. S.
She loves soccer, board games, and the outdoors! She is currently a Marketing associate at HNP, but she started in June 2024 as a Logistics Associate, transferred into an Administrative Associate position then briefly into a Website Developer/Manager before her current position on the team!

Meet Haasini
When asked why she decided to join HNP, Haasini shared,​
​
I originally joined HNP Canada in January 2024 as a Finance Associate, which was an exciting and completely new experience where I learned so much. Later that year, I was promoted to Finance Lead, enjoying the opportunity to lead my own team while working alongside incredible Heads of Finance. I am now serving as Interim Co-Head of Finance, where I'm continuously growing and evolving as a leader!

Why She Joined HNP!
When asked about why she joined HNP she shared:​

"My first ever experience with HNP was being a part of the Fellowship program as a participant. I was completely new to what HNP Canada is as an organization and originally joined the program to learn more about my passion in environmental work. The program was my first ever introduction to HP's environmental literacy and advocacy goals, and it left a lasting impression strong enough on me to join the team, growing my own ambition for environmental projects!"

About Her!
Ahrani originally started at HNP as an Event Associate, which she loved, and eventually transitioned into the role of Content Lead.

Now, she oversees and curate the videos you see on HNP’s TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram reels. Her role involves supervising the content team, editing their work, and bringing their creative ideas to life.

About Him!
Jake is a Grade 11 student attending Oakville Trafalgar High School. As a Community Engagement Associate, he collaborates with his team to plan and run events that connect students with local initiatives!

Most recently, he helped organize an Earth Day competition and supported the development of both virtual and in-person pollinator garden events.

About Her!
Amana, is a grade 12 student at John Fraser Secondary School. She is one of the three events co-directors at HNP Ontario, helping organise and lead in-person community events like cleanups, tree plantings, and invasive plant species removals!

According to her, these events empower Ontario citizens to take action in protecting their local environment and contribute to a more sustainable future!

About Her!
Natalie is a grade 11 AP student at St. Theresa of Lisieux CHS an HNP Ontario’s very own Outreach Co-Director!

As a member of the Outreach team, she works closely with her team to organize events that raise awareness about various environmental topics, as well as educate students about important environment-based events and conversations. Last month, she and her team hosted a summit, and are currently working on writing a report about the summit and its impact.

“Hi everyone! I’m Vanessa, an undergraduate student at Western University, specializing in Environmental Science. At HNP, I’m part of the Communications Department, where I focus on content creation, outreach, and engagement to expand our impact. I love being part of a team that’s dedicated to meaningful environmental initiatives, and I’m excited for all that’s ahead at HNP!”
