5 Days of Virtual  
Programming

“Over the course of your virtual fellowship (August 11-15), participants will work in teams up to 4 to:

  1. Thoroughly research an environmental issue that impacts communities within North America or around the world

  2. Write a formal 3-5 page report or a 5-10 minute video on the environmental issue chosen, including:

    1. A description of the environmental issue and how it impacts communities

    2. What the stakeholders are doing regarding this environmental issue

    3. What role might the government play in resolving this environmental issue

    4. How communities might come together to be able to create social solutions towards this issue

Professional 
Workshops

Throughout the five days of this fellowship, you will have an opportunity to attend virtual workshops to learn more about the root causes of the climate crisis and what governments are doing (or not doing) about it.

 

You will have an opportunity to learn more about good citation practices, report writing skills as well as basic research ethics. These workshops will be led by professors and/or other industry professionals.
