ABOUT US
Human Nature Projects (HNP) Canada is a federally registered, youth-led not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing environmental literacy by raising awareness about current environmental issues to inspire meaningful and equitable environmental action.
HNP Canada uses various events and initiatives to further this goal, with the long-term vision of creating a global climate-resilient community of environmentalists that champions increased environmental action by acting locally but thinking globally. To date, HNP Canada has involved 10,000+ youth in environmental education, protection, conservation, and restoration globally.

OUR IMPACT
HNP Canada is proud to celebrate the dedication and impact of our team, volunteers, and community partners. This year, we reached key milestones that highlight our commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
HNP Canada celebrated a year of milestones and recognition, including five years of impact, showcasing our programs at the YRES Volunteer Convention where Co-Founder Muhammad Ansar received the 2025 Junior & Youth Star Award, and earning the University of Toronto Sustainable Action Award. Our Seeds for Change summit was featured by Taiwanese Circular Economy Jr., highlighting global youth-led environmental advocacy. Locally, HNP was recognized by Mayor Burton and Councillor Morley for community contributions and engaged the public at the Toronto Botanical Garden’s Fall Ravine Festival, connecting families to environmental education and fostering meaningful community engagement.
